Boss spoilers follow:

It's not the biggest or most spectacular boss fight in the DLC but hoooo boy did this one test me! The first phase requires immense patience, especially in that painful stretch where I was muscling through it only to die almost immediately to the second phase.

That said, while it was difficult, I loved this battle. It has a little story that plays out, and of course Neil Newbon (aka Astarion) brings a lot of personality to Lumacchio. I felt like I needed to experiment with subtly different approaches, items, etc, which as you'll know is not my strong suit, but this one really worked for me. Onto the next!
