Overture is nearly done. What do you reckon we should play next?
Added 2025-11-26 15:00:21 +0000 UTCHey folks! Much as I hate to think about Lies of P: Overture ending, it surely will at some point - and probably quite soon (assuming the final boss doesn't see me stuck for six months).
I want to roll right into a new playthrough, so I'm canvassing opinion on what the next game should be! By now you probably know the kind of thing I like - challenge, boss battles, and some decent lore/story (or at least some weird NPCs so it's not all minmaxing and combat).
Another Crab's Treasure? Lords of the Fallen? Fallen Feathers? Something else? Remnant looks fun? So does AI Limit? Doom: The Dark Ages? I've got half an eye on Saros (the new Housemarque game) which is out in March '26, so perhaps Returnal? (although who knows how well a roguelike would translate into weekly episodes). Ninja Gaiden 4?!
If any of the above - or anything else - sparks interest, drop a comment below, and if you see a comment that broadly aligns with your own opinion, add a like (or, of course, a 'Hear Hear' if you feel like channelling your inner Imogen).
Don't worry, I won't play anything I'm not personally very psyched to try, and all suggestions will be run through the complex filter of 'will this make good edited episodic content?' that I have honed over many years of staring at timelines in Premiere Pro. I trust my gut on these matters, but it's useful as a content creator now and again to be able to say 'HEY EVERYBODY PLEASE YELL INTO THIS BOX SO I CAN SEE THE YELLS??' π
Thanks gang, and as Lies of P: Overture races into the final stretch, it's as good a time as any to say a huge thank you to everyone who supports my work and tunes in every week for roughly an hour of videogame nonsense. You're all legends. -L

Iβd love to see you tackle Returnal! I found it really absorbing, and I think the roguelike randomness could make for a fun ride to watch along. I can see it playing a little like Nightreign, in terms of optimising your runs and dealing with the capricious RNG. The story keeps you pretty off-balance the whole way too, which is probably never a bad thing for a playthoughβ¦
