Pinocchio enlists the help of an unlikely ally to face down the Alchemists' newest horrorshow...
Boss spoilers follow:
Blimey, what a strange boss! I really like what they're doing with the DLC in terms of boss experimentation, this is second battle in Overture to feature two very different rhythms of combat, with the challenge being to swap back and forth between them.
On the other hand, it didn't feel like there was too much narrative build-up to this one, and I feel a little conflicted about summoning Alidoro (I know he's just called The Tracker in-game but come on, it's gotta be Alidoro) - a bit like summoning Hornsent vs Mesmer in Elden Ring: Shadow of the Ertree, it made the fight a bit swifter and simpler than I would have preferred. But then, narratively it's really cool to have deployed the little trumpet and fought alongside a cool character, especially one with an identical sword for maximum visual impact. What did you think?
