At last, we reached the $1500 goal!

I've been putting this off for a couple of years already. The reason being that every time we reach it, and once all patronage for the running month gets processed, that figure goes below 1500. Rinse and repeat. But not this time! So we've officially made it across the treshold!!

What's next?

A) Start talking with some fellow artists i'd like to hire for this. See who's available for it (that's the main hurdle tbh yall are so successful and busy, proud of ya) Then i'd have to make some kind of work-for-hire contract and figure those logistics out.

B) I've been checking my numbers, and as of rn i got a budget of 250-300 usd /month for this project, which should be enough for... 1 comic page a month 😂 Probably just black and white. These will be slow going comics no doubt. Maybe it's a good opportunity for the after-minutes ideas? Who knows.

C) Once the artist and the budget has been agreed upon, just like with your regular after-hours comics, I'll make an idea bin so we can all discuss the next idea, make a final poll, all that jazz. And once an idea is picked, all gears would be set in motion, and monthly updates of that brand new, guest artist after-hours comic would begin! That'd mean 2 ongoing after-hours comics at any given time 😱

I'm excited, but like, lowkey, since it's gonna take a while to finish any story xD

All in all, i think it will take a few months to prepare everything. So just to play it safe, let's say it'll begin... somewhere in Q1 of 2021 😂
