I like that line "I'm so glad you like it... its the only good thing about me..". Al could rebuke Mugger for being so hard on herself. he could say something like "I wouldn't be here if you weren't worth it, Mugger." And then he takes a turn feeding her or he gives her a kiss on the forehead that will lead to more touching then sex

Or perhaps, following along the current line of depressed trash panda, muggs is like "I'm so glad you like it... it's the only good thing about me..." And Aldo would explode in praise and jump to how he finds her super hot, queue flashback to 'murica and his studies abroad. This in future pages of course xD I'm just thinking the overall arc.

It gets hot in the kitchen so when she rushes to answer the door, she's wearing shorts and a low cut top that unwittingly shows off her thiccness. At the last moment Mugger realizes she forgot to buy a second set of chopsticks for Al--- so without thinking, she lovingly feeds Al using her own pair. Once that delicious food hits his mouth, Mugger becomes irresistible. He can feel the love and care she put into making this meal for him. And DAMN she thicc.
