The Other Side, Chapter 1 — The Edge

I don’t remember my word counts atm and I’m on mobile so I’ll update this post when I’m at PC later with those. I think I’m like between 1/3 and 1/2 of the way to the next cycle? But due to votes I need to also have uploaded a new chapter of either Snowbound or Re:Fox before then, so yeah.
Edit: Word count @ 11,308. Still need to upload a new chapter of either Snowbound or Re:Fox before I do a payment, though.

Ooh, this feels like an interesting mix of how I read the Mechwarrior setting to be, but with mecha more akin to those of Armored Core, with Link abilities adding a dash a magic!
