Patreon Changes
Added 2018-08-02 05:35:47 +0000 UTCHey everyone, with the conclusion of Advent. I'm going to be making some edits to the way this page is run. Namely because... well, Tallrock chapters are twice as long as Advent chapters are. I'm also going to be temporarily removing the Advent related rewards for the higher tiers as I'm going to be focusing on Tallrock and I don't want to delay the payoff of those rewards by as long as I will need to.
That said, there are still a couple of xatherite I need to put into the book. They are all currently planned for the first third of the second book... but that could be a few months away as I'm hoping to get Tallrock done before I start working on Redmage 2. I've found that it is nice to have something else to work on when I'm blocked up. But the split in my focus was also kind of difficult to maintain.
So, I'm going to be working on Tallrock for a few months unless inspiration strikes and I find myself really needing to write down what happens to Drew and company. The work on getting the book ready for publishing is under full steam and I've been very happy with my contacts with the people over at Mountaindale Press.
Last and probably most importantly. Patreon has changed their payment options to allow creators to charge payment up front on their pages. I will be switching to that system on the fifth. For the most part that will mean you will be charged at the first of the month instead of at the end of the month. I understand that this might 'ding' a few people twice this month. I'm hoping it's a relatively seamless transition. But I have my doubts about that. Let me know if this is going to be an issue.
