Exclusive videos on our forum + away for a couple of days

Hello Patrons!

In case you didn't know, we have a section on our forum where all of the TT YouTube videos are posted early without ads. This also gives you a chance to comment and discuss your thoughts without them being lost in the vast and sometimes frustrating YouTube comment section.

I also just published a 2nd behind the scenes video of my efforts to convert the bottom of a delta printer to have a conveyor belt for automatic part ejection. I've picked this system because the actual printing is unchanged and uncompromised. Assuming the belt is sticky enough to hold prints it should print as well as before except be able to work through a queue autonomously. On paper it can print forever without my attention, if I had an infinitely large roll of filament at least.

Signing up to the forum takes about a minute with the 'sign up' > 'with Patreon' buttons.

The first half of this week I will be away on a family trip for my kids' birthday. Depending on accommodation WIFI, I won't be on the forum to reply to posts but I will endeavour to catch up mid week.

If you celebrate Easter, wishing you a happy one. If not, eat a bunch of chocolate anyway. Thanks for your ongoing support. It means being able to not have any sponsor segments in each video.

Michael

I am building a 3D printing with 4 axis and a BLTouch. I am having trouble configuring the Z axis - where do I go to get help on this? I am new to this site.

The problem with listing on kick starter is the IP owned by maker bot for printing on a conveyor belt in a standard X,Y.Z orientation. It dose look like a good build. Only 10 more years till that one runs out.

Michael - awesome "belt" project. I've commented to a few folks why no one has tried that because you have more control over the nozzle angle and would have the ability to print "classic" with the nozzle orthoganal to the belt or "belt style" with an angled nozzle. Very anxious to see this project succeed. THAT would be a project I'd support on a kickstarter as it would be the ultimate in speed and production capabilities. To add to the forum if it's not there already, you could use a filament splicer to splice in another large roll of filament to keep production rolling continuously. I will be watching and commenting in that forum for sure!!
