- Video on recycling used filament spools to turn them into storage

- More looong projects using the belt printer

- Review of the Phrozen Mighty + cleaning station

- Open source claw machine project

- 3018 CNC machine overhaul

- Making PLA prints waterproof/UV proof/heat proof

- Resin workflow video plus testing of various resins

- DIY injection molding

Thanks for the entertainment and information across both channels. I have learned more about 3D printing and designing for 3D printing from your videos than any other, as well as being fascinated with your other interests. Keep up the great work.

Thank you very much Scott and welcome.

My first venture into Patreon! I can’t think of a channel more worthy of support than yours, Michael! Thank you so very much for helping me get started with 3D printing! You are a gem!

Thank you Jason and welcome! Be sure to check out the exclusive forum.

Just signed up to support the channel. First time I've been a Patreon but I felt that the knowledge you're putting out is worth a few bucks! Thanks and looking forward to more.

Thanks Clarlie, welcome aboard.

I just discovered the GitHub project you posted back in an August video and that’s what pushed me. The BL Touch vids and almost all other videos you have on tips and tricks just are really awesome. Glad to be able to give back in some small way for all your time and knowledge. Thank you.

I have made a few updated Marlin videos but I understand completely what you are saying. Things going out of date is one of the biggest challenges of running the channel, as strange as that sounds.

Hello Michael, Looking forward to your content in the new year. It may seem redundant but it seems that some of the past videos could use a remake. Newcomers to the hobby are coming in with newer electronics and hardware. Trying to tune Marlin today from the old videos is just one example. So it may seem like I have already done that, but not with todays software. Thanks for your consideration and keep up the good work.

I forgot to add metal 3D printing to my list! I recently purchased a kiln for trying this. I'm expecting it to be a lot of trouble but we'll find out.

I have seen discussion of these problems and will test for them myself.

Happy newyear everyone! Wishing you all a happy, and hopefully covid-free 2021. As for the Q&A, I have 2 questions Michael: 1. I was wondering if you have ever looked into, or had a chance to play around with printing metal parts? A while ago I saw this video by Papadakis Racing (https://youtu.be/4jbn0ah3u9E), where they print exhaust headers using inconel powder. Do you think similar (but lower end) printing systems will become available for hobbyists/makers as well? 2. If you could choose/design your dream 3D printer at this time, what would you choose (style, mechanical components, electronics, drivers, etc.), and why?

Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Going into a new year, I’d like to know; if you had to choose one FDM printer and one resin printer going into the new year - which ones would you pick?

Merry Christmas and all the best for the new year. I am looking forward to you video on the E3 Turbo board as I install one last month . Problems I had are : 1. Had trouble getting the PID correct. After several tries a auto calibration the temperature of the hot end still varied by +- 5 Degs 2. The bootup time is a lot longer then the previous E3 V2 board. This resulted in Octoprint generating a fault and tripping the TP wifi Plug. Increasing the comms timeout did not rectify the error. I finished up reinstalling the E3 V2 Board and shelving the turbo board for a future date.

Merry Christmas 🎄 Happy New Year 🍾

Happy New Year. Love the video ideas. Can't wait to see the ratrod video!

Hello Michael and Happy New Year to you and your family. Your channel is great and there's a number of videos I've been back to multiple times. They are all good but as someone new to 3D printing the ones I found particularly helpful were Github/Github Desktop and editing and compiling Marlin with VS Code. Anything that helps demystify the technical/programming side of 3D printing and peripherals would be great. Keep up the good work

Martin Smith

Hello Michael. My request is for you to do a follow-up video to the Big Tree Tech Smart Filament Sensor but have it attached to a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint. I've got one on order that I want to connect this way and I've added the program to my Octoprint but I'm not sure how difficult it's going to be. You've got excellent problem solving skills that would help people like me who might find this a bit challenging.

Excellent list. Looking forward to several of them. Your channel is the most consistently useful of all the 3DP youtubers. I can't use them all, nobody could, but I find more here that I can put to use than elsewhere. I never have seen a video from you where it looked like you've rushed to get something, anything out to appease the viewers. The videos are always well thought out and thorough.

Merry Christmas. Thank you for your channel. It’s always a good guide

Howdy, I’ve been rapaciously watching your videos in the last week, the quality of your content is simply excellent and I just signed up to say thanks. Something I’d like to see is coverage of the super affordable AnyCubic printers, I’m kinda biased as I just bought a Mega Zero v1.0 for $160 new (too cheap to pass up imo). I did the sums and found that I could grab a v1 + SKR mini MZ + TFT35 + BLtouch + Wifi module for low $300 aud vs an Ender 3 v2 for $400 without any upgrades. Anyway, it’s going to be a fun journey. 👍
