Life-y stuff

I’m moving into a new apartment with my partner next month and I’m both nervous and excited. It’s a new experience for both of us as it’ll be the start of us living together alone. We have a friend/ roommate we’re living with in our current place, and we’re very grateful for them giving us a place to live. My partner moved in with them a year before I did, and I’ve been here for a bit over a year. We’re both pretty excited to get out on our own and figure things out. We’ve been looking around at furniture for ourselves, with current priority to the kitchen. If you have any suggestions on where to look for furniture for any part of a house, I’m open for it!

We’ve started packing a bit and getting some books and things put away into boxes and we’re both taking some time off towards the end of the month to finalize our packing and prepare for our move. I apologize in advance for the commission/ uploading delays this will cause.

Something I’ve been thinking about is potentially shifting from my commission focus to trying to put more into patreon. Commissions are fun, and I very much enjoy working with the people who commission me, but sometimes I miss working on my own things, and being able to take it easy. Growing this community has become a goal for me so that I am able to take more time to focus on myself and my own art as well as provide quality content for you guys to enjoy and maybe spread out into having some patron chats. Be it chatting through posts on patreon or communicating in some other way, I think some more just chill time with you guys would be fun.

Currently, I’m struggling a bit with figuring out my taxes. I’m a full time freelance/ commission artist, so it’s been a bit complicated trying to figure out what I can and can’t claim, how much I’m looking at getting taxed on, trying to make sure I get it done right and all that.

I’ve got a lot going on currently and sometimes it gets hard to handle it all. Sometimes I forget too that I can post about some of the stuff that goes on here! If you are indeed interested in these sorts of updates, please let me know! The feedback helps a lot.

Thank you all so much for sticking with me!
