Dark - Ep.2X4 "Travelers" UNCUT & UNCENSORED

Ok, I was a bit anxious again (hence the delay) but after this episode, my confidence has been fully restored! I think I've found the ideal balance between "note-taking" and letting the episode "breathe" so to speak. Appreciate the feedback and the advice!!

So, with that being said, Sic Mundus eh? Looks like there's even deeper meaning here than I initially thought. As we jump around through time to uncover that mystery, we have a whole SQUAD forming back in 2020 as more and more anxious parents share the secrets and revelations of time travel with each other. Combine all that with the BIGGEST bomb-shell of all (in 1921 of all places) and we have one of the juiciest mid-season episodes of all time....

to pronounce the o in alexander kohler ( i dont have the keyboard) you make a sound you would make when surprised. you kinda need to round your mouth a little. :)

i wouldn't worry about war history knowledge. the makers purposefully left war stuff out of this series (outside of the beginning of this episode) to keep to the theme of time travel and sci-fi rather than the dark (no pun intended) stuff out.

This is my favorite episode of Dark. It just had so much packed into one episode. And of course we get the big reveal about Adam.

Back on the horse, awesome! You keep up with plot and people far better than most, so feeling anxious is really unnecessary.

Great balance with the note taking! Really enjoyed it.

As someone who loves timetravel I continuously wondered how this would all play out, because if you view all the characters they're all just continuing to live the cycle, regardless of the allusion to loopholes. Poor Jonas has met himself twice, both versions aren't doing well to say the least...

Errbody's a big bad mother fucker til they hear "ich bin du." 😆

I love the way this show does mystery reveals. It’s all about misdirection, like a magic trick. For example the Mikkel thing… you know he’s missing and the questions you ask are where is he? Then when is he? But the reveal they were hiding is WHO is Mikkel? And that question gets only the tiniest amount of foreshadowing and most of it is in the same episode as the reveal. It leaves you feeling satisfied like a season-long mystery got wrapped up and there were tons of hints along the way, but really the hints don’t mean anything to you when you don’t have the context to even ask the question. As someone who has seen it before, watching the way they sprinkle in the foreshadowing, and the way they misdirect you by making you ask the wrong questions is so fun.

Maybe Wöller’s eye is just a really embarrassing story. He lost it after a bad case of pink eye last summer when he got super drunk and pooped the bed 😬

Poor Jonas - imagine getting sent back to one of the darkest periods in German history and being trapped there. 1921 is right after WWI, the start of an incredible period of economic depression, and the rise of the Nazi Party. Things are going to get BAD, and a student his age would probably be familiar enough with German history to know the timeline pretty well. He’s got to know he’s on a clock now to get home if he doesn’t want to get stuck in that shit.
