100% Irv gets whacked when he gets off the train or sometime shortly after. I believe Bert when he says he doesn't hurt people, he just drives them to wherever lumon tells him to and the cards fall as they will. He knows Irv is going to die, which is why he reiterates "I can't" over and over when Irv says He's ready. Or, Irv survives the assassination attempt and returns back to Kier in season 3 to confront Bert and work with the mysterious person on the other end of the phone to take down Lumon

The scene where we see Irving leaving on the train , he appears happy … does he have the realization that he feels loved , by an act of sacrifice of some sort .. Burt surely will face some type of consequence if discovered .However we can’t overlook the shot directly after of the black hallway … Burt drives people to their demise … he says it straight up … it’s too easy and clean , I just don’t think Irving will have such a clean getaway

Goldilocks

Dylan G imagined his outie as a badass who's lovemade with a MILF or two. Pity for the husbands is the feeling he focused on to pass the compunction test in the break room. But he's the husband in this scenario; the woman he loves chose his outie over him. Oh, this is heartbreaking.

You’re right movie man. Sorry for being a hater about the pausing in the past. This is how you enjoy the show. For instance I enjoy the show by watching other people watch it literally 4 times over after I’ve watched it for myself lol. I’m sure some people would say that’s stupid or a waste of time. Luv ya 🫡❤️

Jimmy

Poor Dylan! He talks to a girl for 52 minutes and falls so hard he’s ready to kill himself when she rejects his marriage proposal.

Yeah I JUST noticed that after the "She's one of jame's", we cut to devon pretending to be pregnant

I read a few people saying that this could be the end of Irving's story, but that doesn't make sense. He's clearly working with someone else in his investigation, for a reason. If we don't know the motive yet, then his story can't end.

Inkpendude

I hope I'm wrong, but the "she's one of Jame's" line is so eerie to me. I had a thought like what if he has or tried to make baby Eagans with Lumon employees? Then I thought about, who is Helly's mom? Could it have been Cobel? The implications are awful, but Lumon is so evil, I wouldn't be surprised.

So I can’t take credit for this theory, but following the theme of that episode some people are saying perhaps Helly IS the outie, as in Helena was created because Helly was too rebellious, also the egg being split six ways references (just like Gemma’s six innies in E7) that she might not know how many ways she’s severed. Just like Marsha White, she likely does not know she (Helena) is not the original person (if this theory is true). It would also lend credence to Jame saying “my Helly”.

The "code" at the birthing center is an allusion to an episode of The Twilight Zone called, not surprisingly, "The After Hours." The lines Cobel and the guard at the gate speak are direct references and/or dialogue from the episode. Def worth reading a summary or a quick watch. There are clear parallels. Oh, and I'm so weirded out by "one of Jame's" -- 🤮 -- now I can hate on him even more.

💡I did not make that connection, but you're so right! Burt and Irving broke my damn heart. The parallels to the scene from the plant room and also Burt's "retirement" goodbye scene . . . Burt says, "Just stay" in the plant room and this time, "Just go." 🥺 My only consolation is he's still alive & he still has lovely Radar. It also occurred to me while watching with MM101 that this is another way for oBurt to show his goodness after he had wronged others. Perhaps another way to regain his innocence, as he did with iIrving. The pain in Walken's voice is palpable. If he up and left Fields for Irving, then he's still doing harm. I mean, it's not on the level of driving people to what he clearly figured out was their death, but it seems he has committed to living his life in a better way. I hope you're right about Irving. I'm sure you've also read about Turturro not directly saying, but hinting, that this is his last season. If that is true, my hope is that he could still be brought back as a special guest in an episode or two. I sort of feel like they temporarily tied up subplots in this episode b/c next episode will be heavily focused on Mark/Gemma/Cobel/Helly story line(s).

I’m pretty sure in that moment with Drummond, Milchick realized it was not Ms. Huang who put in that complaint about him. The “I’m ready” from Irv as an outie followed by a forehead touch with the juxtaposition of innie Irv in season 1 saying “I’m sorry, I’m not ready” with a forehead touch…I cannot HANDLE it. There’s no way this is the end for Irving, he has a much more massive part in this. It MAY be the end of his story this season, though I still have a feeling he knows he’s laid the foundation for something massive in the finale. I also have a STRONG feeling that Jame and/or Drummond isn’t making it out of the finale, and I pray I’m correct about that.

Dark soon? 🤞🏼

Correct! There are 5 boxes -- I think they correspond to the 5 brain frequencies Reghabi mentioned to Mark: alpha, theta, gamma, beta, delta. The way I've made sense of severance in my non-scientific mind is that it's like changing a radio station or TV -- tuning in to a diff channel of sorts -- with each being isolated from the others and which can be triggered by external stimuli (doorway, elevator, switch, etc.). I wasn't critiquing you or ppl on the clone theory -- was only clarifying what show runners have said. I see Gemma as being severed into many innies -- at least 7 (6 rooms + Ms. Casey in elevator) based on current knowledge and show events.
