Whew.... welp, the dust seems to have cleared for the most part. Now the healing can begin right? ..... right? Also, apologies if I prattled on too much about my own personal trauma. There were some instances in this episode that dredged up some old memories for sure. Hopefully by sharing my experience, those who have similar can also feel seen/heard? Is there truly a morally righteous way forward for the vampyr?

I'm sure what people feel when they defend Lestat it's just the feeling that people normally justify much more Louis or Claudia's selfishness or bad actions, than Lestat's. And part of that for sure it's because we are after all hearing this story from the point of view of Louis and Claudia, and so it's perfectly logical that our vision of things it's always more predisposed to villanise Lestat than the others. Lestat does some bad and unforgivable things and that's FACTS but there's always hypocrisy when someone judge one character and not the other for lying or being selfish, when we defend Claudia and excuse her for everything , when she is cruel to Lestat even talking about Lestat first love Nicky, when she knows how hurt Lestat was by this love and we forgive that, because even if we don't want to accept it, we even if she has 60 years see her as a child. Etc. Of course that it's not your fault! You are just reacting with your own thoughts as you see the show and I'm eager to see how your view evolve (or not) with season 2. Anyway I wanted to express this because I'm new to your channel and I'm binging your reactions of IWTV 😂 I'm excited for you to see season 2, I'm enjoying your reactions so much!
