Damage Report!

Hello there, everyone! Today I have a relatively small announcement, although it will in the end have a very large visual impact on Star Fox Event Horizon. I present to you... visual battle damage!

As the video and screenshot above demonstrates, all ships will now progressively display more visual damage to their hulls as they get beaten up in battle. Ships will go from pristine, to missing some of their hull plating, to being scorched wrecks with glowing heat scars all over before finally exploding! This not only applies to mechanical craft, but living organic creatures as well. Dinosaurs on Sauria will become bruised and bloodied as they take damage, and many of the monstrous creatures that Star Fox faces will also start to show visual signs of damage! This will hopefully liven up the battlefields and make everything feel that much more explosive and brutal.
