This is one of the few movies that centers around Thanksgiving, but the chaos and stress of traveling home for the holidays can really apply for any major holiday. This movie was both nightmarish and hilarious!! John Candy and Steve Martin played their roles beautifully. At times, this movie felt too realistic! I'm just glad I don't have to travel for the holidays. ๐

I watched this movie years ago, but remembered nothing about it, so this was like seeing it for the first time all over again! What a movie! Steve Martin had maybe the most valid crash outs I've ever seen! Jax, I have to admit, it's almost impossible to imagine you getting actual, real, properly angry at anything. You're too sweet! My favorite Thanksgiving food is easily stuffing and cranberries! I mix them together and that is some good eating! Although, I've always wanted to try that Thanksgiving sandwich Monica made Ross on Friends! That always sounded good and totally worth yelling at my boss over!
