Added 2025-11-10 21:03:36 +0000 UTCThis movie was made in 2006 and somehow seems even more relevant today. It was like watching a live action version of Wall-e without the cute robot love story. At times, I found it to be really funny but it was also very thought provoking. Set in a futuristic world that is filled with sponsorships and ads, this felt like one giant ad to stay in school and keep yourself educated.

There was a point where I just put my hand on my screen and wanted to give you a hug because you looked so bumfuzzled at what was happening. You looked like you were right in between laughing and crying the whole time and I was right there with you. If you want to see more of Mike Judge's work, I highly highly suggest watching Office Space! Especially if you've had any sort of office job, it will really speak to you! And you gave me a great idea, if I work on April Fool's, I am totally going to greet people with "Welcome, I love you!" haha
