Sometimes, music can be therapeutic. The trial in this episode was very symbolic for Alice. She needed to confront her demons by performing the song that caused them. It was melancholic but by witch standards it was also necessary. She allowed herself to unleash her emotions through her mother’s song, and it allowed her to finally take that first step to healing. I understood what Lilia meant with her dislike for brooms in episode 5, but just in case anyone needs a translation this falls under Halloween commercialism (again) and sexism. They do look kinda funny riding brooms. I laughed a bit when I saw it the first time. Even Lilia seemed to enjoy it more she wanted to admit. The blood moon is sometimes known as the crimson moon. It’s the same diff since crimson is the specific red color for blood. Alice and Lilia were my favorites in the group. I felt like Alice was being a real one but ended up paying a price that even Agatha didn’t seem to agree to. First, Noobmaster. Now Bohnerrific69? I won’t elaborate, but if you know you know.
