A few interesting comments from discussion when the episode released: - The show is an homage to Martin Scorsese's After Hours. Brendan Hunt confirmed this in an interview. - I've heard several people say that it captures the feeling of a night out in London in your 20s. I missed that boat, but I get how that can resonate with people.
