Well, they successfully found a way to make watermelon unappetizing and I didn't think that was possible.

Jax, it's interesting that you call Helly R. "the real Helly". I see the 'outies' as the real people, not that the 'innies' aren't people as well, but just because you got severed doesn't mean you've diminished the reality of the person who was severed. I think Ricken is taking the only logical tack to take with his book. His wife doesn't seem to understand, his book will go nowhere if he writes an anti-severance manifesto. "Infiltrate & double-cross" is the only strategy to use in order to affect a real change with his words & ideas. What is the Cold Harbor file?? And if that one will be so tremendous for the world, what are all the others? What ARE those numbers all about??? Have a great weekend, Jax, & thank you so much! πŸ’–

Regarding Helena and the amount of control she has over her life: none. In one of the previous episodes (I went back to look for the scene, and its in S2E2, 38:57), Drummond is talking about keeping Mark S in line and on track to completing Cold Harbor, and he says something to the effect of "The board's gonna give him what he wants, including Helly R.". Mind you, this can be interpreted as 'he can work with his original team, including Helly R.' or you can take it as an underlying double entendre of 'he can work with his original team, and Helly will give herself to him to keep him distracted.' And after its said, the camera cuts to Helena at the meeting, and she shoots Drummond a sideways glance. Like shes trying to appear to be a team player, but doesnt want to do this, and is probably even resentful that she is being treated as a bargaining chip. I can see how that might be easy to overlook, its all pretty subtle, but thats how I interpreted it. Shes just coming off of pissing off her father due to Helly's outburst at the gala. She likely feels that shes not in a position to complain, and goes along with it to try and get back in her father's good graces.
