Anyone who thinks these characters are one-dimensional should learn to "be curious, not judgmental". It's a good life lesson, even though it's not really from Walt Whitman. I mean, it's a large cast so not every character gets fully developed, but all the main cast are well-written and brilliantly acted, and they're all nuanced, realistic characters.

It's so funny to me that one of the main criticisms I see against this show, is that the characters are supposedly "one-dimensional". I think that says a lot more about the reviewers than about the show. 😅
