Honestly I avoided this show for a long time. I don't care about soccer (football), or even sports in general, and I don't know most of the cast. After this first episode I'm into it! Characters already seem pretty interesting.

2025-01-09 19:51:46 +0000 UTCNot sure how best to handle the syncing, but for some added context, some people don't even have the ads (like me), and others may have different ads (based on their watch history and other factors), so it's likely best to find a solution that syncs after the ads somehow.

First, because that's the way the guy who developed the file format called it(because the compressed files were small enough to be downloaded in a jiffy, or that choosier developers use gif), but also because it seems to annoy people who use the hard g. :)

2025-01-09 03:37:53 +0000 UTC1. Apple TV has this delay; good content, bad streaming service. The ads aren't always the same, so it's up to you if you wanna keep it. I sync it after the ad. 2. Football's origins is close to what Beard said, it was created to fill the time of the school boys so they would stop masturbating, but the no-hands rule came many years later. 3. I pronounce the word gif: gif.

2025-01-09 00:48:55 +0000 UTCYarr, as far as syncing goes, I usually end up alternating pausing the reaction and the video until I get it close enough my eyes no longer notice the difference. Usually its the audio that lets me know if its not perfectly synced. if the audio suddenly gets louder, that means its playing the 2 layers of audio synced. An echo means its off, but its difficult to tell which one is off just based on the audio alone.
