What a delightful movie! I felt nostalgic watching it since this movie came out in 2004 and embodied the comedies of the early 2000s.

They said that they originally had Globo Gym winning to subvert expectations and not do the trope of the underdog winning, but that ending tested badly so the studio made them change the ending. That final after credit scene where Ben Stiller says โthereโs your happy ending Alsowas added because of this. Also, I noticed a couple of differences in the Disney Plus version of the movie. After he helps the cheerleaders win Justin Long comes back into the scene and kisses the cheerleaders. So it makes more sense when she shouts โI love youโ during the finals match. One other difference I noticed from the theatrical release is that Patches does not say โ Youโre about as useful as a poop flavored lollipopโ, he says โYouโre about as useful as a cock flavored lollipop โ which I find much funnier.

"You're adopted, your parents don't even love you" is still something I want to say to a kid that pisses me off some day. I've got it pocketed and ready to use. Knowing you were a cheerleader now makes me wonder, have you seen Bring It On and if so, did you like it? That movie came out just before my freshman year of high school and the cheerleaders were obsessed with it so I wonder if you went though that too!
