I'm glad you're picking up on some of the connections between the Tobey Maguire films and the other Spider-Man movies. Keep the name Dr. Connors (Peter's college professor in this movie) at the back of your mind! You may have noticed an important detail about him.

Mike Smith

I forgot to mention a little detail from the novelization of the movie. During the scene in the elevator, it's revealed that Peter actually got his costume from one of the wrestlers that Bonesaw hurt in the first movie. He had 2 costumes made and had them sent to Peter as a thank you for beating Bonesaw.

There's something that I bet you never considered, and as a matter of fact most people don't consider that although Mary Jane wasn't the source of his super powers she was the fuel of his super powers. Just look at how he reacted when she rejected him, he lost his powers, because his very being was tied to her, without her he's not himself let alone super powered... and the usher and in thy first movie ring announcer, also it's in Tyr third movie. He's a jack of all trades temp worker, and Spider-Man 3 isn't the last time you'll see him.

Stan Johnston

This is the first time I noticed the address of the pizza place on the helmet sticker was on Bleecker Street, same as Dr. Strange.

Sam Raimi did such a great job with these films. No wonder he is so good at adding suspense! He really leaned into his horror movie past in this film because I was on the edge of my seat the entire time. Peter really did get the crap beat out of him for most of this movie, which made the cake scene so much sweeter. Also, thank you for letting me know Tritium is real!

Jacqueline

That is so cool that it was the same guy in both of those parts!! I'll have to keep an eye out for him in Multiverse of Madness!

Jacqueline

Part 2 is definitely the best out of the trilogy

Armando Castillo

Ehhhh technically part 1 and 2 but those are meh movies and don't add anything to the story

Armando Castillo

The train fight is still one of my favorite action scenes in any movie! And I think the hospital scene is one of the scariest non-horror movie scenes. Sam Raimi was known for making horror films early in his career and that scene was a great trip of the hat to his roots. I also totally forgot how much of this movie is just kicking Peter in the teeth over and over! The first actually nice thing that happens to him is when Ursula gives him the piece of cake and that happens like an hour and 20 minutes in! Tritium is also a real element and it is indeed very rare!

Pst you may want to add the first Venom movie to your past Spider-Man movie marathons before you get to No Way Home.

The Dingo

Sam Raimi the director of Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3 always seem to find small parts for Bruce Campbell. They started together in Evil Dead in the early 80s. Campbell play the wrestling annoncer in the first Spider-man movie, the usher in the 2nd and will be back in the 3rd one. When Raimi directed Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Campbell again come back.
