Are you excited that Sam is now taking on the Captain America title? When I watched this show, I didn't realize adopting other super hero names was done in the comics. Now it makes sense as to why they are looking for a new Captain America.

Karli actually wasn't a character from the comics. The whole flagsmashers are based on one character from the comics called Flag Smasher. Karli was named after the first Flag Smasher though, who's name was Karl Morgenthau
