Added 2024-08-21 19:00:04 +0000 UTCHello! I hope you are doing well! I've been in an animated film kind of mood and this movie looked awesome. I'd heard that it was pretty good so I thought it would be fun to check out.
If you're a fan of A Midsummer Night's Dream AND musicals, then you will probably love this. I didn't realize until after I saw the movie that it was heavily based on Shakespeare's play. This is also a George Lucas film! I didn't know he made movies outside of the Star Wars universe!
Synopsis: The world is divided into two lands. On one side, there is a beautiful forest filled with fairies. On the other, the Dark Forest is home to the Bog King. He hates love and has ordered the destruction of all the primroses, which are an essential ingredient in love potions. When an elf from the good side tries to make a love motion, absolute chaos ensues! The two words collide and true love is tested!

2024-08-26 07:33:25 +0000 UTCSo, for 2/3ds of this movie I was moaning "What has Jax gotten me into?", but the reveal of Boggy Woggy as the romantic lead turned things around in a hurry. Also, they were singing less by the end.

Totally understandable but you missed that she voiced โGriselda.โ Can you imagine how rough her throat felt after time in the recording studio? You NAILED Kristin Chenoweth, though.
