Deadpool 2 (Full Reaction)

Here we go! Deadpool 2 is just as amazing as the first movie. Wade gets close to a mutant kid named Russell, who lives at an orphanage. When Russell becomes the target of a deadly soldier named Cable, Wade joins forces with a group of mutants to try to protect him. In case you are wondering, this is a family film!

Deadpool 2 (Full Reaction)

Hey, MCU/Comic book nerd here. Couple things. In the multiverse, there is a universe called the Crimson Cosmos. In this universe, there is a powerful being named Cyttorak. Long story short, Cyttorak gave powers to Cain Marko which turned him into Juggernaut. So, Juggernaut is not a mutant even though he always appears with other mutants in these movies. In the future, man is battling a Techno-Virus that slowly turns your body into a machine. This is why Cable appears the way he does in this movie.

Lawrence Gibson

She’s watching the theatrical cut not the “super dooper cut” realised on blu ray. Problem is theatrical cut is the one on Disney plus.

jimmy2k4o .

It is Ryan Reynolds himself who played Juggernaut in this Movie.

Brian Timm

When you edit for YouTube, if you haven’t already, You should look for the painting on the build at 1 hour 4 minutes.

NotMyRealName

Wait!! What happened to the other scene in the end credits scene with Hitler???? Why was that not in this cut??

HeyHeyJK

You should definitely react to the Deadpool 3 trailer!! I think you'll love the title.

Marcell

That was so much fun watching along with you, although as others have mentioned, there was a flash of disappointment when you didn't notice Brad Pitt as Vanisher. You also either missed or didn't mention the actual Stan Lee cameo! I wonder if you'll see it when you do the YouTube edit. If not, let me know and I'll give you the time stamp. And, if you haven't seen the Wolverine popcorn buckets for the upcoming "Deadpool & Wolverine" film - they're actually a little more disturbing than the "Dune" sandworm buckets, but also hilarious. And I don't want to see the cast list for the new film to avoid spoilers - especially based on the rumors I've heard about the plot - but I really hope Zazie Beetz is back as Domino. Love her as an actress and absolutely loved her character. I would watch a series just based on her if they had one.

HeyHeyJK

One very obscure reference, the Essex House for Mutant Rehabilitation where Russel was staying is a reference to Mr Sinister, who's real name is Nathaniel Essex and in the comics is notorious for experimenting on mutants.

Baalberith

I have also had the same problem with some of the local streaming platforms here in Norway. But Disney+ always stays synced with all reactor watch along videos I have seen.

Jgeir

Deadpool is such a fun character to watch! Love seeing your reactions to these movies!! You're nearing the end of your X-Men journey too! Just one movie left!

Ed Scoglio

It makes me sad when people watch the theatrical cut when the extended cut is available.

MotoDork

God, you're going to love the trailer for the new Deadpool. Also, did you notice who played Vanisher in that 2 second cameo where he's being electrocuted and can see him?

Sean Maher

Agreed, Marvel Fan.

Aldo Gonzales

There are four different versions of this movie, the Super Duper Cut has the line "Those bullets were, like, super fast" while I know they used the "Your bullets are really fast" in the Deadpool 2 trailer but AFAIK it was never used in any release. Deadpool 2 Theatrical release Deadpool 2 Unrated Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut (15 extra minutes) Once Upon a Deadpool (PG-13)

Rippan

Can someone backstop me, please? I have a fairly clear memory from the scene in the armored transport where DP slices the first bullet only to be hit several times in the ensuing hail. In this, the ‘joke’ line is just ‘Ow!’ but I have a fairly clear memory of the line being, “…..those came a lot faster than I thought!’ Does anyone else remember this?

Lamar Smith

Movie seems to skip or jump. Hard to keep synced. Got too frustrated trying to jump ahead.

Ken Zarn

I completely agree. Hating on GL is what the cool kids do, but there's a lot to like.

Chester Beals

I do feel a little bad about all the Green Lantern hate, that movie wasn't terrible. It had significant flaws, TO BE SURE. But there was plenty to like in it too. I will never be able to see Kilowog in the comics without hearing Michael Clarke Duncan's voice, for one :)

Patrick Egan

Can't wait to watch the reaction later tonight synced to the movie, but still had to watch your reaction to the Vanessa scene right away. Not as emotional as I thought it might be, but you're not fooling anyone with the "I'm not crying my eyes are just watering" line. Funny how it happened right at that scene, eh?

HeyHeyJK

I mean no disrespect but it’s out, like, next week or this last weekend, no? I’m curious what calculation you’re making to determine ‘too soon?’

Lamar Smith

Couple more references you might have missed. When ‘Juggernaut’ and ‘Russell’ are walking up to the orphanage, ‘Russell’ asks if ‘Juggernaut’ wears a helmet to keep his brother from reading his mind and ‘Juggernaut’ responds, “….yeah but he’s in a wheelchair, so Even Steven.” Can you think of anyone in a wheelchair that can read minds? Also, in the post-credits, as Ryan Reynolds finishes his script for ‘Green Lantern,’ take a look at what is sitting on his desk. It’s a workout item mentioned in the first movie.

Lamar Smith

Bit sad it isn't the Super Duper Cut..

Wirenfeldt Jr

This was amazing to watch with you. The fact that you knew all the songs was fun too. My neighbors can't support my story, but I was singing out loud with you. Until your reaction- "chicka chickaaah!"

James Whiteley

Jax, you have to watch the new Deadpool / Wolverine trailers

Qtr

Black Tom Cassidy often worked with Juggernaut in the comic, he's also the cousin of Sean Cassidy (Banshee) that was in X-Men First Class. For those who didn't notice Vanisher was play by Brad Pitt, he's only show when he hit the power lines. So many jokes in the movie, the one about "Give me your best shot, One-Eyed Willy" is about the movie Goonies that Josh Brolin played in as a kid.

David Bourgeois

As far as how the end credits effect the last couple X-men movies in the Fox franchise? Not at all (I think they were pretty much done by the time this came out). How does it effect DP3? Definitely watch the trailer if you want to see.

Steve J

Besides the Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk cameos, there was also the Brad Pitt cameo(Vanisher getting electrocuted). I heard Pitt did the role for the proverbial cup of coffee(scale for a non-speaking role). The X-Men cameo was able to happen because Dark Phoenix was filming right around the same time as DP2. Though they were on opposite sides of Canada and were green-screened in. (DP2 was filming in Vancouver, while Dark Phoenix was filming in Montreal.) And I love watching until the very end so I can hear the chorus sing: "Oh holy sh!t balls!" over and over. Would've loved to see the faces of the studio choir when they got THAT sheet music. lol

Michael Kemmet

wait why? I just said that it’s in the mcu which she already knows because I’ve heard her talk about it. I didn’t even name the title of the movie or anything about it. So can you why?

Connor Vide

Senec

Great reaction! Just so you don’t get your hopes up, there’s only two xmen Movies left in this universe so sadly not much is followed up on When Disney bought Fox in 2019 they cancelled the xmen series to eventually reboot them into the MUC The next desdpool movie is in the MCU so if you want to keep watching in release order it’ll be a while before it gets to it!

Connor Vide

By the way, Deadpool 2 director David Leitch made his directorial debut on John Wick, making this film in fact Directed by One of the Guys Who Killed John Wick’s Dog.

Alex Ch

If only it had been the extended cut-you could have seen the additional post credits scene…

Brad Nelson

I do enjoy that Jax’s problem solving is darker than Deadpool’s. We are definitely witnessing an antihero arc.

Alex Ch

Did you happen to catch who played The Vanisher? It was Brad Pitt. Wonderful reaction.😊

Paul Spacone

I knew a lot of this from being told by someone else, but I never put the Yukio connection together. Very cool!

BubblyRainbows

The Juggernaut is my dad's favorite Marvel character, so I got an earful of why the Juggernaut from the third X-Men movie was lame and irritating, and nothing like the comics at all, etc., etc. This depiction, he tells me, is much, much closer to the comic version. Not perfect, but good enough to get his approval. I'm not a comic reader myself, but if this is more accurate than X-Men 3's version, I guess I can get how some fans were pretty irritated by that version. Sort of the same way I get why "Deadpool" from "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" was so unpopular after having seen him in these movies. I'm glad you saw the post-credit scene, but I'm sad you didn't watch until the end of the credits just for the Juggernaut's theme song, which you didn't seem to notice in the movie itself. It cracked me up the first time I heard it. This was fun to rewatch with you! "Bye, Yukio!" ✌️🤓

BubblyRainbows

Vanisher was Brad Pitt

SquaredSpekz

and a couple of minutes after the Vanisher cameo, there's another one she missed. :)

Chester Beals

It had to kill the studio to have Damon and Brad Pitt in the same film and not be able to promote either of them.

Alex Ch

Totally AWESOME, Dearest Jax.. Ok, you brought back doo-doo-doo-DOO…… but it wasn’t your best. Now that you’re into trailers, go ahead and do the DP3? It’s on Disney+ You did miss a very easy to miss cameo. Re-Watch the scene where ‘Vanisher’ hits the power lines and becomes visible. I suspect you’ll recognize him. Why am I not surprised you love Dolly Parton? Then again, who doesn’t?

Lamar Smith

The toilet paper discussion scene, none other than Matt Damon and Alan Tudyk (left and right, respectively )

Alex Gonzalez

Did you notice the heap amount of MCU references in this one? The film rights for X-Men still belonged to 20th Century Fox at the time, but that didn’t stop them from mentioning the MCU among other pop culture here and there. Furthermore, this movie dropped only a few weeks after Infinity War. Of all the people they could’ve casted for the role of Cable, they went with Josh Brolin and he was already portraying Thanos. I wonder how he was able to tackle both characters back then. In the trailer, Deadpool joked “pump the hate brakes, Thanos.” Then here he goes “zip it, Thanos.” By the way, even though we didn’t get Stan Lee to cameo in this movie and Logan 2017 he appeared in a teaser for Deadpool 2 that played right before Logan during its’ theatrical run. Before working on this movie, New Zealand native Julian Dennison got to work with Sam Neill in a movie called Hunt for the Wilderpeople. After this, he would go on to appear in Godzilla vs. Kong.

Cable: Cable, is a fantastic character. He made his first appearance in The New Mutants #87 (1990), and later, in New Mutants #98 (1990), defended the new Mutants from Deadpool who was introduced in this very same comic. Thanks to recent X-Men media, I'll not shine more light onto Cable, or go into his backstory for spoiler reasons, hopefully everyone else shy's away from breaking down his origins. The little you know about Cable the better moving forward into other X-Men projects. X-Force: X-Force, the team Deadpool formed, is also from the comics. First appearing in New Mutants #100 (1991) and later getting their comic series with X-Force #1 (1997), it is a band of outlaw mutants often led by Cable, born from the radicalization of the New Mutants. "Somewhere between Xavier's pacifist views and Magneto's terrorist views, there had to be an activist view." - Rob Liefeld Domino, Shatterstar, Deadpool, Cable, and Zeitgeist are members of the X-Force in the comics. Vanisher, Bedlam, and, of course, Peter are not X-Force members in the comics. They basically just added a few lesser known Marvel characters to kill off while Cable, Deadpool, and Domino like the comics are the more iconic X-Force members. Juggernaut: Cain Marko, also known as Juggernaut, is a fascinating character who underwent a dramatic transformation. Originally a regular human, he was empowered by a gem belonging to the deity Cyttorak, turning him into a literal human juggernaut. Interestingly, despite his first appearance in the X-Men comics and his affiliation with the Brotherhood of Mutants, Cain Marko isn't a Mutant. His powers were derived from the Gem, not from Mutations. In X-Men: Last Stand, they reimagined him as a Mutant, but it's unclear if this change carries over into the current timeline. Yukio: I should point out that Negasonic's girlfriend is Yukio, the same character from The Wolverine (2013) who can see whenever a person dies. Again, this is a new timeline post Days of Future Past, so we have a new Yukio who is a teenager, a young adult and a member of the X-Men compared to her older counterpart who helped Logan while he was in Japan.

YAYYYYYYYYY ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Liam Harrold

100% a family film. Honestly, once it is available, we need to get you to watch If
