Gotta admit, due to personal experience, and nothing at all to do with the writing, acting, or anything other than certain content in the last two episodes, they are my least favorite of the series. I have never actually given episode 14 a second watch, and today won't be the day I do. I do remember and did like the way the first part of Ep. 14 with River offers a glimpse at what living with schizophrenia can sort of be like (with allowance for plot-related dramatization) when reality starts to drift, if you have the misfortune of suffering both auditory and visual hallucinations (the majority of people with schizophrenia experience one or the other, with auditory hallucinations being most common). But some of the content of that episode especially hits in a really sensitive spot, unfortunately. Very much looking forward to your reaction to "Serenity," though. Also dropping a like on Ep. 14 even though I didn't watch it. After all, it's the episode I have the issue with, not your reaction, whatever it may be. Hardly seems fair to snub your work over personal issues with the source material.
