Seems like something that would have been a thing so much earlier. I'd forgotten how intense some of these episodes were! The show really does do well raising the stakes with each season. Also, the Mind Flayer and the monster that's being created are 2 diferent things. The monster, dubbed the Meat Flayer by fans, is a big physical form the Mind Flayer can use since the Demodogs are all gone.
