2024-01-28 06:19:53 +0000 UTCIf you do decide to try out some horror maybe consider some of the classics from the 70s & 80s as they aren’t quite as graphic as modern horror. I mean they still have some gore but back then they had to do more with less. If you haven’t seen them already I’d recommend Alien and Terminator. Both have arguably the most iconic female protagonists in cinema history for the last half century, Ellen Ripley (Alien) & Sarah Conner (Terminator). I’d also recommend both sequels, Terminator 2 and Aliens (Aliens is Alien 2, I don’t know why they chose a plural), but definitely the Aliens extended cut. Watching both women’s character development through both originals and sequels is incredible. Maybe an idea for October.
