I have been using an Azure kinect lately. For the most part it works a lot better than the Intel d435i I used to use. Biggest problem with the Kinect so far is finding compatible software. Best I've used so far is recfusion. Interesting to see how that Einstar does long term and if they can come down in price.

2023-05-04 15:48:38 +0000 UTCMatt, have you tried Meshmixer instead of Meshlab? I used it for some 3D scanned parts (but only small parts - plastic motorbike panels) and it worked well. It should have an undo button (or rather, .... "do you really like the result" button), too.
