2023-08-02 04:20:23 +0000 UTCCommunists asks what are the point of employers if they hire managers as workers to control other workers, like managing stuff is the only justification for employers to exist. So, why these invisible employers get to decide how big their piece of the pie they get paid and how to distribute the rest to others when employers do absolutely nothing and how do they have all this power when they're not essential to the health of the corporation? Capitalists and capitalist governments do whatever they can to prevent workers from uniting because they'll collectively not work if they don't get what they ask and that effects the money the employer makes and big picture, the economy. Communists are not necessarily bad or evil, it's a good fantasy and I understand where they come from, but it definitely goes against the norm and adds discord that people don't like (something like: I want my shoes but they won't sell me shoes because they want to get paid more. That doesn't effect me, I want them to do their job).
