Lineal update #5!

What's up just bleed crew! I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the long weekend (assuming you're in Ireland/UK and actually have a long weekend, for everyone else, i hope work isn't too bad tomorrow).

So this week has been a bit of a quiet one in Lineal work, unfortunately it was a week where i was working a late shift in my 9-5 which didn't leave much time for me to do any writing or editing in the evenings unfortunately. As such I've spent what time I did have just polishing up the existing work, making cuts/amendments, doing a bit more research, basically anything that didn't require me to sit down and write/record for long periods.

However with the weekend upon us I've managed to make some more headway in the writing department, and i am happy to say that I have finally, FINALLY...... finished the fucking Fedor segment lol. So yeah i knew that with Fedor being the longest reigning lineal champ, his segment would be the biggest, but at time of writing, the entire video is 45 minutes just his lineal reign, introducing Werdum to the picture, and the eventual loss to Werdum in Strikeforce.

I had been toying with the idea of releasing just this segment as a Patron exclusive until the rest of the video is finished. I'm determined to finish this lineal trajectory in one video, but as I've said all along, it's gonna take considerably longer than usual because there's still so much to cover, so I've added a poll at the bottom of this post. If you'd like to watch the Fedor segment early, I can upload it in a few days when I'm happy its fully finished and polished, just to tide you all over until the entire video is finished. If the responses are over 50% in favour of an early release for the Fedor segment, I'll release it for you all (ONLY on Patreon though). But only if its a decent sized number of votes too. Like if there's less than 20 votes cast in total, I don't think that's enough of a sample size to really be considered a legitimate poll given how many Patrons there are lol. I just realized that the Dante video came out 2 months ago next week, and i know in my bones there's at least another 6 weeks minimum of work to go on Lineal 4, so I just didn't want to leave you guys hanging that long.

But what I can say for certain is I am super fucking happy with how this is turning out so far. It's a bit strange as I've talked about Fedor in the Pride videos, and hell i even talked about him in Lineal 3, but I'm still finding stuff I hadn't seen before, or random facts or snippets that are new to me. And the whole Fedor vs Werdum fight was something that even though I watched it when it happened, I hadn't really dug into the lore of the fight, so there's a lot there that's new to me.

Now, if you'll excuse me, we're entering a Shevchenko fight week, so I'll be a shredded bundle of nerves fretting about her being dethroned by this pretender to the crown Fiorot until next Sunday morning, so I'll sign off for now. Also, before I go, if any of you haven't seen it yet, Mark Coleman and Jiri Prochazka were half naked Pride drummers at the opening ceremony for Rizin last night and it was INCREDIBLE
