Non-AI based Dante Update #4

Just Bleed Gang!

How are we all doing? I've uploaded a re-worked intro to the upcoming video here for you all, so please enjoy and get a little hype.

This is featuring all original music written by LCQP, who was clearly channeling his inner Nobuhiko Takada on this track (Takada was the crazy half naked drummer in the Pride opening ceremonies and also the guy who fought Rickson in Pride 1, and also the concert pianist who opened one of the Pride grand Prix's i think... clearly a man of many talents).

The video is coming along really well, a full hour has been written and edited now, with the most recent entry being a sidebar into the science behind the Dim Mak (spoiler alert: There is no science behind it). But things are coming together well now, a lot of the art that I commissioned for the video has come in, and LCQP are killing it with the soundtrack, a mix of original music, and Karate-fied versions of some of the staple tracks that I use on the channel.

Yeah so basically after reading about Dante's war stories, in my head all I could picture was him in the same pose as the Doomguy on the original DOOM box art, which was what i asked the artist to try and recreate (@JackThornArt on insta should you want to show him a bit of love).

Also big news this week, was i finally received an original, 1968 copy of Dante's own DEADLIEST FIGHTING SECRETS!

I was hoping to glean some secret knowledge, or some insight into the man himself, that could perhaps only be found by mastering his DEADLY FISTING ARTS. It was totally worth it. There are cheap, printed PDFs of this sold by the Black Dragon Fighting Society website and surprise surprise, by Ashida Kim, but they're honestly trash and have been edited and filled with really low quality, poorly cropped photos and stuff, and they still charge like $50 for them. If i was to learn the Dim Mak, i wouldn't be doing it from no fuckin' PDF. I'm learning straight from the Count himself with this one.

Oh I also got Dante's service records from the Marines too, but realistically there wasn't any information in there I didn't already know from his FBI files. So shoutout to the records keepers there but yeah, the feds beat you to the punch 😂

Oh so the AI voice thing, yeah there is actually a video related reason as to why I cloned my voice, I guess you'll find that one out soon enough! But to be real for a second, I have used some AI voices in this video, basically in an attempt to break up the monotony of ONLY hearing my voice for really long stretches of the video. As there is so little footage of Dante, the video can go for a long time with only me talking, as there is no footage or audio of the man to play. So when it comes to things like reading off the FBI reports, I wanted to break it up so just used an AI voice to read the reports. I did also clone Dante's voice from the few minutes we have of him speaking, but again I only used this voice to read his own quotes, again just to kinda break up the audio so it isn't just me reading everything for 90 minutes.

It's a bit of a touchy one, as i genuinely hate AI Art (i know i used some in the TUF 3 video, but that was long before i knew that these models are trained on mostly stolen art, at which point i swore to never use AI art again) and i hate the people who are forcing AI into everyfuckinthing as some kind of catch all solution for every problem under the sun. I was torn on whether or not to use the AI voice, but i figured its not putting people out of work as the alternative would just be me reading it otherwise, and as long as i don't use it to read anything other than real, verified quotes, its a kinda necessary evil. I hope you don't mind too much.
