End of Year Update #3

It's been a good week for progress on the video, as I've both reached, and breached the 1 hour mark. It's up to 1 hour 15 minutes of work done, and in terms of coverage, this covers January to September.

Hmm.. September... what happened in September that needs discussion.. let me think..

BLOWNAPART DESTROYS GRASSO SIMPS WITH FACTS AND LOGIC

So its been a busy week, both for work on the video, and for stories to go into the video..

It's a bit of a weird one, as Conor actually features quite heavily in the video, (despite not fighting), but obviously his on again/off again date with Chandler, the Roadhouse reboot, all his insane appearances while coked out of his fucking face, etc etc. all had to be talked about. So I've already written a bunch of stuff about him, long before he was found liable for Rape this week. So I'm in a bit of a weird position in that there's a ton of material poking fun and laughing a guy who goes on to be found guilty of some heinous shit. It'd be a bit like writing a scathing comedic review of Charles Mason's album a week before he gets unmasked as a murderous cult leader.

And this video is genuinely a completely unserious, comedic look at the year, but I also cant NOT talk about the trial, which means there will be some serious tonal whiplash sandwiched somewhere in between "Rolling Thunder KO of the year" and "The Johnny Walker award for goofiest ass way to injure yourself".

But yeah, aside from that, this is shaping up to be possibly the single dumbest video I've ever made. This weekend saw the finishing touches applied to probably the most unhinged bit of work I've ever put my name to. Shoutout to my homie who was working on this with me, you know who you are, but to say too much more would ruin the surprise, so I'll leave it at that. But this will either be the best, or worst thing, I've ever attached my name to, and both outcomes are acceptable.

It's what I really enjoy most about these end of year videos, they are genuinely just a chance to do all the really, really stupid shit that might not fit into other videos, to dress cats up in Christmas pyjamas, or myself up in Seagal cosplay, whatever. Nothing is off limits in the end of year round up, and this one, yeah, It's gonna be fun. I just hope this idea works out the way I've been visualizing the last few weeks!

Right now, I hope this will be ready for Patreon on Friday 7th of December. Dates are subject to change, but i think next weekend ill be wrapping up the script, and then another week to finish editing, and with some luck, we'll be good to go on the 7th.
