End of Year update #2

Although, I'm sure for most of you, given the events of the last weekend in combat sports, very few of us are having what could be classed as a good evening. It was bad enough seeing Bobby Knuckles and Max Holloway lose back to back in UFC 308 last month, but to see Tyson "lose" to Jake Paul, followed by Jon Jones committing elder abuse of Stipe Miocic this weekend... man.
Hard week to be a fight fan.
Regardless, we soldier on. The End of Year video is now sitting at a whopping 55 minutes, and has only just finished covering June. Considering last years EOY video was an hour and 10 minutes, i think its safe to say this one will be a fair bit longer. To be honest, I think the runtime is only this long because I've been going on extended rants about freakshow fights, a review of Roadhouse 2024, and an entire skit about the time Jones threatened to kill a drug tester that spun off into a fucking weird direction that I really cant explain other than "it was 2am and seemed funny to me".
With 5 months of stuff left to cover (I generally don't cover December because I try and get these out early in the month, no point releasing an end of year round up at the ass end of December when people have stopped giving a shit) so I'd hope within the next 3 weeks to get this finished!
Anyway, not much more to announce other than that for now, I'll leave you all to resume mourning for the soul of combat sports however you see fit.

Mate, this last weekend has not helped my mourning over the Bobby and Max outcomes one iota. Luckily Iβve got Queenslands finest brew( XXXX bitterπ¦πΊ) and family support to help me through these darkest of days. I just hope my grandkids will understand one day the reason Poppy lost the spring in his step in late 2024. As for the Jones boy, I have two words..FUCKIN SOCIOPATH! Itβs clear to see now anytime he talks. On a lighter note, cheers for the update mate and keep on truckingβ¦π€ππ€
