Lineal update #5!

What's going on JBG!

Another Sunday, another lineal update! So things are progressing well, but with a caveat. I've a full hour completed now, but this video has basically turned into a "Rise and fall of Mirko Cro Cop". I only just finished Cro Cop's story and then looked back at the video and realized his story is probably about 2/3rds of the entire runtime so far lol.

I've had the unfortunate bad luck of spending the last day or two writing about his post lineal career, specifically, a segment about how he came damn close to losing to Pat "the predator" Barry, and then got KTFO by Brendan Schaub in his next fight. I thought I was done with clowning on Brandon in videos, but i guess this one last time couldn't hurt..

I am genuinely saddened though, as one of my favourite bits I've done so far wont be usable on Youtube, (but will definitely make the Patreon version!). Without spoiling anything, its a brief segment that started as a stupid joke idea when discussing Cro Cop v Schaub, and now has turned into an oddly touching, yet still stupid, moment. Its a fantastic dichotomy of heartwrenching and pants on head moronic. And it's all thanks to the music used. But sadly said music is 100% copyright protected so that's a no no for youtube. Just means the Patreon version is the definitive edition yet again.

Honestly, so far this video, while I don't think it has as many high impact moments like Colemans post career bit in Lineal 1, or Enson v Vovchanchyn segment in Lineal 2, it has some of my personal favourite bits I've worked on in a while. The Sapp v Noguiera, and Cro Cop v Noguiera segments have turned out really well, and a whole ass bit about Shockwave 2002 was great fun to write and edit too. So I'm genuinely excited to get this out there now, which is a double edged sword, as it's making me kinda want to rush it out lol.

Also, has anyone seen Creepy Heihachi around lately? I can't find the guy... hope he's okay...

In other news, I just wanted to say I am gonna put people in the $3 tiers names first in the credits going forward on videos, there isn't much extra I can offer but priority names in the credits is at least something until i think of some actual perks.

Short update this week! But that just means more work is happening on the video, so less time to write about it. Back to work!
