Post video de-briefing and also Bas Rutten threatened to liver shot me

What's up everyone!

First off, yes, that's the man, El Guapo, Bas Rutten himself, discussing potentially liver shotting me, and it is THE SINGLE GREATEST MOMENT OF MY YOUTUBE CAREER. 

It turns out a friend actually trains with Bas, and was super fucking cool enough to harass Bas into recording this for me which might be the best thing anyone's ever done for me.

First of all, I'd just like to say a heartfelt thanks to all of you, as always, and especially anyone who signed up to watch the Patreon early access version, despite Patreon very obviously displaying a fucking link to the video and the password  to anyone and everyone who clicked onto my page for like 24 hours after the video was uploaded for Patrons. If you took the time to sign up despite essentially getting the password for free, well just know I appreciate you.

So after the Patreon version went up, it was super fun times of trying to re-edit the entire thing to fit with YouTubes inscrutable fucking monetization rules. In the end, I had to make a few changes you may have spotted if you've watched both.

The end credits music had to be replaced.

The segment where Gary Goodridge talks about suicide had to go.

The entire segment of Goodridge talking about his struggles with CTE I had to splice in footage of him fighting every 10 seconds across the entire 60 second clip, as without those breaks, it got the video flagged.

Overall it was easier than usual, I think the UFC are happy anyone is re-using power slap content at all so I didn't have to worry too much about that shit getting claimed. Tho it was annoying as shit to have to break up the segment of Goodridge talking as its pretty much the lynchpin of the entire CTE section.

I'm really happy with the reception to it so far, seems to have gone over well with most viewers so I cant ask for better than that really. Views wise i think its tracking more or less the same as most videos, a strong first day and then buried in the algorithm while we wait for Youtube to copyright strike it 😂😂

What's next!

So at the moment I'm kinda in between jobs, both Youtube wise and Dayjob wise. I've resigned from my job of 8 years due to them being a shower of fucking wankers, and am currently waiting to start a new job on the 15th, which gives me plenty of time to think about whats next, play with some ideas, and also play a metric fucking ton of Resident Evil 4 remake, and i finally, fucking FINALLY finished God of War Ragnarok, after starting it last November. These are the things I sacrifice while making videos, never forget that 😆

So yeah I have a few Ideas for what's next, I'm thinking It could either be the conclusion of the TUF Trilogy, a Frank Dux Fakes and Frauds special edition, or as I've been watching some of the more forgotten mid 90s MMA lately, such as World Combat Chmapionship, I thought a video on the NHB scene could be good. But as a thank you, I'm going to put up a poll in a couple of days and let you guys decide on what's next.
