Post release update, chit chat, and cat photo

Hey all!

I meant to post this a couple of weeks ago, but Youtube finally paid out the money from the Monson stream at the end of April (even tho it feels like that stream was several years ago at this point), and i was finally able to put the proceeds into the fundraiser. All told, we raised €727, which is insane! So thank you to everyone who donated. Hopefully the money will do some good!

Fake Martial Arts 2 hit 100k views in it's first week, which is just, wow. It's the most successful first week for any video I've made so far! Like with every video, i was pretty nervous after uploading it as I was genuinely worried it just wasn't up to scratch, but overall the reception has been pretty great. Combined with Michael Bisping himself giving me a shout out in his video about Fake Martial Arts Masters its been a wild week for the channel.

I re-uploaded the correct aspect ratio version of FMA 2 to Vimeo, again, apologies for that screw up. A lot of these video editing tools I'm literally learning on the fly as in "shit, i need to find a way to compress my videos without ruining the quality, to google!" and then messing around with the resulting programs i find. It's all a learning experience 😆 So all 3 parts of Pride, both FMA videos, and the Conor video are up there now ad-free.

A sincere thanks to everyone who signed up to the Patreon since FMA2 came out! It's really appreciated. If every person who posted "i'm signing up to your Pateron now" in the video comments actually did, I could probably retire on a party boat in Cabo with Nick Diaz, so to the people who actually do go and do it, you have my eternal gratitude.

I've just been relaxing this last week, thinking over ideas for the next video and catching up on some sleep/videogaming etc. I'll probably take another week or so to 100% decide on what's next, and then make a start on scripting and ideas 😀 Also there may be a small (very small) collab with fellow MMA YT'er Mixed Martial Academic coming out soon. nothing concrete yet, but we're in discussion about it!

Anywho, signing off with another cat photo, this is Biscuit, and don't be fooled by his Pride-era Shogun good looks, this cat is a straight up murderer who ganks the local wildlife like a Chandler front kick to the face. He is also helps out with the editing process by lying directly across my wrists when using the keyboard 😫
