Project Kamp week ahead #162
Added 2025-10-13 14:00:21 +0000 UTCHey friends,
This week we bring you the building of the outdoor kitchen for the granite ruin. π₯ It was started by Menno and finished by Josie. Good example of a project being handover to a new Kamper, and a showcase of these two super-skilled makers. πͺπ€

And this week at Kamp we had quite some movement!
Mariona and MΓ‘tΓ© finished their time with us. They were managing BK pod so next season will be hard to find replacement. πͺβοΈ
It's sad to see them go after more than 2 years at Kamp. π’ But they might come back in the future, who knows!
On the happy side, Tom (left) visited us and will hopefully join the video team next season. Maybe also Felipe (right) and Antoine (top)
Also Lobke, who joined for a bit last week and helped Julie with her last project of the season (2nd hand stuff!) π§΅πͺ‘
Bread team on a friday. Happy as they can be.
New recipe by the way. Fancy some red pepper in your bread? π₯πΆοΈ
Lately food is been superb, like this original fruit ππ salad...
Or this incredible MaracuyΓ‘ (passion fruit) cake. Might feel a bit over reacted by Cameron, but he was just too hungry.
But all this food also brings visitors. We had a chill season mice-wise, but looks they are coming back π
Also mushroom season is back and we are getting some good ones at Kamp.
Some harvest. πβπ«
And the brick ruin... next week we will have an update! 𧱠π That was it for this week, hope you enjoyed the video π and don't forget to vote for your favourite thumbnail! ππ³οΈ

2025-10-17 01:56:00 +0000 UTCI wish there was more follow up on the fact that many Kampers were quite sick this season. There was a brief mention about the water not being ok. It would have been great to get updates on something so crucial as safe water. I really hope you will include more "Life at Kamp" updates and not solely focus on a build project. Because it can get boring. Which sounds so negative when you are working so hard to construct housing etc. Please give the Human connection more priority π
