Back in Fukushima today

It’s nice to be back in Iwaki where I taught English in 1999. The station has changed but Mr Donuts and Ito Yokado are still in the same spot 😂 where I started learning Japanese from old ladies! Hey, they started it!! I was just sitting there and they started to talk to me. I could not speak Japanese so they started teaching me. A group of them, kind of strict 😂 and I saw them there more often. It’s deep countryside here, not much but today I’m with a group of people on a tour to Minami Soma and catch up on their education about the earthquake. Some of the participants are younger than 13 meaning they were just born or not yet when the Great Tohoku Earthquake happened. I hope to talk to them, some speak English quite well. If I can I’ll go live today but the museum says no live streaming so I’ll have to upload the video tonight perhaps. Hot day today in Soma, cold tomorrow. See you soon from Fukushima 😁🎌🎍
