ONLY in JAPAN Bus Tour Finishes String with Koi

Our first day was all about the fireworks and the festival around it. Today — Nishikigoi, the birthplace of koi and a few stops to learn about them. Sharing the Japanese countryside with our community was an amazing experience, the food so good, cooked by talented local ladies with all local ingredients. Learned A LOT about what we can do better and what works, I feel like we should try again in 2024 for sure, but it was a lot of work and the experience of organizing this with locals is something we can build off. Regional areas want to promote more but they don’t have confidence because they don’t see tourists from abroad there. The last 24 hours, we were very much there.
