Added 2023-07-11 06:54:51 +0000 UTCToyo-san is one of the great chefs of Osaka, more an outdoor BBQ than an Izakaya but the food is THAT good and his cooking is like a performance. We made friends pretty quick and his smile is infectious - it's hard not to complain waiting in live for 2 hours to eat here - unless you get there an hour early and bring your appetite at 4:30pm! Thanks for the support and Chef Toyo is coming to your mailbox starting this Friday when I take him to the Tokyo Station Post Office to fly around the world to all of you :) -J

The FIRE theme is a good episode idea!! - but a side note: Menbakadai the ultimate food tourist trap and have never seen a local in there paying because the ramen is - eh. Great marketing! Chef is a genius in that way, an entertainer over chef. Toyo-san is a real chef, prices good and locals pack the place too.
