Here it is — we don’t know if we’ll sell out but max capacity is 30. Price: ¥70,000 for 1 night / 2 days with tickets to the fireworks festival, hotel, 2-3 meals and bus transport. I’ll be on the bus, maybe some karaoke until someone strangles me. We have 3 signed up already. Our goal is 10 but welcome as many as we can so it’s more fun. It’s all planned out and listed on the website ▶️ https://ideya.jp/en/katakai/ it goes through Ide-san’s company which is connected with the Japan Fireworks Association. She also was a big partner to get the fireworks for the Nagano project with her connections to the industry. We’ll spend the day getting street food at the festival too before the main event. Last time I was here, Hana and I ate quite a bit. Honda-san, the Yonshakudama inventor, plans to meet the group too. We’re trying to schedule that. Stopping at the Ojiya national koi pond museum and a breeding pond as well, famous in this area and I’ll get clips for a main channel episode too, weather permitting 🤞I think I got it right. I’ve got another meeting with Ide-san soon about the accommodation. We will be supporting local businesses and meeting some old ladies who will cook lunch. I believe that’s booked. I’ll be at Tokyo Station too so can meet everyone in front of the station to help get on if I can. It’s not too far from Tokyo.
