My question is inspired by your recent theme of public toilets. We noticed in a lot of public toilets there was no soap although they were always super clean even in the parks? We just found it interesting especially after the pandemic and the efforts to get touch free hand sanitisers in public spaces and given the Japanese cleanliness. It was just an interesting observation and there probably isnβt really an answer We also noticed you can often see into the menβs toilets, we wondered why they are designed this way?

2023-05-28 12:17:25 +0000 UTCWe are now planning for our second trip to Japan next Spring. Recently we visited the tourist hotspots of Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hiroshima, Nara and Hanoke. Whilst we would love to go back to those places again, I would also like to explore a part of Japan that may be off the usual beaten path. Any recommendations/advice?
