Added 2021-08-08 14:44:57 +0000 UTCTokyo 2020 has officially ended and Iβm editing the final scenes of an edited video on living through the games as a resident of the host city β before taking the rings away, we had to get a family shot. Leo slept through almost all the photos except a few from this angle βοΈ born during a pandemic and an Olympic year in the host city! The games were disappointing to me as a resident and someone whoβs been looking forward to this since 2007, but we made the most of it and can move on, look to the future. Thank you for the support the last month during these games. Quite a controversial time but I still believe that when life throws you lemon π you make lemonade π Delta will keep me in Tokyo a little longer than expected but Iβve got several shoots lined up now. All were cancelled until after the Olympics. Since Iβm fully vaccinated now, locations are more open to allow me to shoot. I honestly think these last 2 months leading up to the games have been the toughest of the pandemic for me and this job, but I feel very positive about the future of the series and canβt wait to really flex the new channel the last 4 months of the year. Good bye Tokyo 2020 Olympics and IOC President Bach π see you at Tokyo 2036 with Leo competing for the gold! (But for which country?! π―π΅ πΊπΈ?!)

John, thank you for your positivity, and your great sense of humor, getting us all through the (ongoing) pandemic. I enjoy your tours, walks, live streams, and snack runs so much. And getting to meet your wonderful, growing family has been marvelous. I look forward to learning more and more about Japan, so that when my son and I visit in a couple of years, we will know all the fun places to go, and how to act while we're there!
