As a US Citizen living in the states now, is Japan a good place to retire?

Hi John, any new jobs plan with JR East or West Rail in the coming months? (hopefully the state of emergency officially end). Love to have more interesting Train videos. Wishing good health, well-wishes to both Kanae and Baby Daub (🦁). Have a good rest and enjoy family time during the Golden Week. Love to see u stream the Pokémon Train ride live

Good morning John! (From my side of the world). ☀️ Sorry if these are a lot of questions!! I’ve had a lot to ask before, but I haven’t been able to catch all your streams lately. Anyways, what are the advantages and disadvantages of living in Japan compared to when you lived in America? Do you ever feel home sick and have you ever experienced culture shock? What do you miss the most about America (if anything)? Finally, I know you’ve lived in Japan for sometime now and Kanae has lived in New York for school, but have you and Kanae ever experienced confusion in how one of you does something in the home or even a simple phrase or slang you say to her and vice versa? Do you think your parenting styles be different? Are there ways your cultural backgrounds influence each other for the better? I think the laid back and somewhat rebellious approach Americans can have and the strict, accountable attitudes Japanese can have make for a beneficial partnership. Learn from each other to have balance! We need to work hard and stay focused, but we also need to know when to relax and have self care! Burnout is a real thing.

Snacks, most of which I had to leave in the hotel (no space to carry it while working) and some collectors stuff! I kept as much as I could. Will show!

What features of the α1 do you like the most ( aside from shooting in 8K )? Is the low light performance on par with the A7S3 and are the batteries interchangeable with the A7S3?

I don’t know if anyone has asked this yet, but what did you receive in the bag during the special train ceremony on the platform?
