IMO Japan may have been a bit hasty in marketing leisure domestic travel, though this appeared to have ridden on the back of an immediate full reopening. Overall, what appears to be lots of confidence in cleanliness and diligence of the Japanese people and an eagerness to get back to pre-corona normal may have been detrimental to the second wave, the latter reason echoed by many other countries also experiencing its second wave. With that said, these are uncharted territories, and many countries incl. Japan can use this as an opportunity to go back to the drawing board and plan a solid effort, with MORE caution and contingency, to weather the storm, at least until a vaccine hits the market. Personally, I think you have been very cautious while filming, with advance arrangements and low crowd density in the places you visited recently. Only input given your line of work is perhaps getting routine tests if possible, just in case.

I don't think it's fast, these waves are expected as testing increases. You used to have to exhibit symptoms to be tested, now asymptomatic people can go in for testing.

I dont know , every coyntry have their own methods ! And Japan is the one where things in generally are better than in another countries , so my answer is not moving too fast !

Jari Hult

Of course it moved too fast, just like the UK and the USA. As per usual MONEY over HEALTH. Japan could have followed the examples of Taiwan and New Zealand, both of which have female leaders. I was in Japan From 1/13-3/16 and started wearing a mask from February 2nd.

I don’t think Japan moved on to fast, everyone has to get back to their jobs and live life, do it safely but everyone has their own opinions of course but that’s just mine!
