Update

Also ... we don't have a TV installed in the bedroom at our new place yet so I've been relying on audiobooks to keep me distracted.

Since getting sick, I've gone through Lights Out, The Housemaid, and The Housemaid's secret. Really enjoyed all three. I know there's a third book in the Housemaid series but I could stand to take a break from it.

Got any good book recs in the dark romance, romantasy, or thriller genres that will help keep my mind off the pain??

UPDATE: The ear infection cleared last week, but I was left with some irritation/damage that required different/additional meds. Today was my first full day off all meds. My ears aren't quite back to normal just yet so I may end up needing to see a specialist, but I'm going to give it a few more days off the meds to see. The good news is, they're not worse ... so, I should be good to start recording again tomorrow (Friday). As long as my ears do okay with the headphones, the plan is to record the next four episodes of Classic Who and the next two episodes of Game of Thrones ... with Classic Who hopefully getting posted tomorrow evening and Game of Thrones on Saturday. The next two episodes of AOS should hopefully go out on Sunday as they normally should. I'm also hoping to be able to get in the next MCU movie (or two) this weekend as well. 🀞

UPDATE: I did, in fact, celebrate too soon with my previous update. The new meds did help wipe out the sore throat, but I ended up getting a double ear infection that was only made worse by the lingering sinus infection. I went back to the doctor earlier this week and they switched up my meds. I'm finally feeling pretty good energy-wise, and the sinus infection is about 75-80% better. While my ears are improving, they're still a little too irritated to use headphones just yet. I'm hoping another day or two should do it. *fingers crossed*
