Husband and I bought our 3 week pass and pocket wifi for trip Jan/Feb 2019. Travelling in around about way from Hiroshima to Wakkanai via snow festival back to Tokyo. Think the pass is going to pay for itself...thank you John, Ren3 for info and of course JR.

I simply don’t know an exact time to start most often and things happen when you’re out of a studio that make it very unpredictable. In fact, many streams happen quickly - and idea comes and I can get there first, like a news flash. You have to see it like that — it’s a news flash. They happen suddenly and if you can catch them, it’s awesome! Notices are here as soon as I know one will happen. If I schedule it, there will be an increase in cancellations which is would be worse for everyone. I post advanced notices HERE first and then on Instagram 85% of the time as a backup. I’ll keep trying to give as much notice as possible. When I met Rens3 yesterday, the stream was unplanned and I sent this link 10-15 in advance and we waited a little so people could get the notification. I wish I could do everything days in advanced :) I’ll try my best for more advanced notice.
