2017-11-05 01:36:47 +0000 UTCHey John! How does one go about renting a car there? Where do people normally park their cars? Doesn't look like there's much available parking at times. Do you drive a car? Is there bus services there as well or just trains? Thanks for all you do and have a wonderful day!

2017-11-05 01:33:20 +0000 UTCHi John. Love the way you have incorporated doing Only In Japan episodes with the live streaming. I really enjoy them both. Do you see yourself at some point covering any Japanese artists (painters, photographers etc) that you feel are making an impact in Japanese society? Love what you're doing and will be enjoying the postcard club.

2017-11-04 21:49:57 +0000 UTCGreatly enjoyed the live streams from Daisen/Tottori, you said in one of them that it is a region experiencing population growth by younger people. Is this simply due to the natural beauty/resources of the area or are there local government incentives/schemes in place that attract them?
Joanne
2017-11-04 19:38:32 +0000 UTCHave you thought of doing a Japanese folklore/mythology episode?

2017-11-04 17:20:41 +0000 UTCJohn, thank you so much for what you are doing! My wife and I love to watch your shows! We’ll even check out a John episode of Tokyo Eye 2020 if we still haven’t gotten enough of you lol! Anyways, I don’t see any episodes of obon festival or a bon dance. We love bon dance in Hawaii (obon last 3 months here) We were just there in Fukushima this past July to perform Hawaii style bon dance but we were not able to attend a Japan bon dance. So it would be awesome if you did an obon video sometime in the future! By the way your Awa Odroi videos were awesome! Oh and John props for your wide knowledge of languages. The kakoii, youre right it does sound Hawaiian! Kakou meaning everyone (mina). Oh dont forget to get Mamador in Fukushima! Thank you 😁🤙🏼

2017-11-04 15:22:08 +0000 UTCHow different has it been before and after patreon? I know you have mentioned that patreon has been a great blessing in terms of places you can go now. But what’s the biggest change?
